Selly Oak Arts Trail Exhibition and Competition is back!

Birmingham City Council's Selly Oak Constituency is holding its second Arts Trail Exhibition and Competition this spring.

It is open to everyone and includes the following categories:

• Photographs, paintings and drawings - Adults 17+
• Poetry - Adults 17+
• Photographs, paintings, drawings and poetry - Young people, 12-16 yrs
• Paintings and drawings with a ‘Birmingham' theme - Children, 0-11 yrs

The winning artwork will be displayed at Selly Manor, Bournville Village Green during May-June 2011. Winners and runners-up in each category will also receive ‘goody' bags.

All entries will be displayed at the launch ceremony at Selly Manor in May 2011 and will then be exhibited across the four Constituency Libraries of Druids Heath, Selly Oak, Stirchley and Yardley Wood. All children and young people who have entered will receive a certificate.

The competition closes on Monday 2 May 2011.
