Birse Civils, the Council's contractors for the Selly Oak New Road, have announced that they expect to be working outside of normal working hours this week because of essential work on the canal aqueduct.
The concrete pour to the aqueduct is scheduled for Thursday 26 August 2010, starting at approximately 5.00am and going on until 9.00pm. Birse Civils have apologised for any disturbance to residents that may be caused by noise from the site or the increased frequency of trucks to the site.
