Items on the agenda include:
- an update on work on the Selly Oak New Road (a representative of the Council's contractor, Birse Civil, has been invited);
- a discussion about Selly Oak Park (a representative from the Friends of Selly Oak Park has also been invited); and
- the Selly Oak Ward Community Chest for 2010/11.
The update on work on the Selly Oak New Road from John Daft of Birse also included pictures, many of which are available online at www.sellyoaknewroadphase2.co.uk on the Progress and Gallery pages.
Further details on the New Road project can be found on the Council's website at www.birmingham.gov.uk/sellyoaknewroad
Andrew Schofield, the Chair of the Friends of Selly Oak Park, also gave an update on the work of the group. They are planning a Selly Oak Festival event on Saturday 26 June 2010 to tie in with the funfair's visit to the park. The Friends are looking for people who would like to get involved. If you or a local group are interested in helping, then I can pass on your details if you contact me.
