The National Flu Pandemic Service was launched last week. The service is designed to take some of the pressure off GP's surgeries by allowing assessment of symptoms through online and telephone services.
If you think that you have swine flu you should contact the service on 0800 1 513 100 or visit www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk.
This service is only for people with high temperature and other symptoms that are likely to be caused by swine flu. If you have severe symptoms which are not like flu you should contact your GP or call NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
